What I’ve Been MEANING to Cook

October 22, 2009 by Pasta Salad Recipes · Leave a Comment

I try to put one recipe on my blog a week. I love to cook- I really do, but I have been in a cooking funk! So this is what I’ve been meaning to cook. 1. I am still attempting to figure out tofu and wanted to give this Pan Fried Vegan Tofu Recipe a try. 2. Homemade Pasta. The Pioneer Woman Cooks gives a great tutorial on this. I have never made my own pasta and have been wanting to try for months! 3. Our Monday Maven’s Pumpkin Cheesecake Bars as soon as I can. I

Hi ZestyCook readers! I’m Mara from What’s For Dinner ? I started my blog in October 2008 with the hope of sharing some of my simple and healthy recipes with the public. Little did I know that so many people would benefit from recipes that are both healthy and delicious. Back in March, in a shopping trip to my local produce market, I found frozen small shrimp on sale. I live in the Chicago land area. This means that while fresh produce is available year-round, it’s so cold that all I want a

And it wasn’t until I got home that I realized that we didn’t take a group photo! Christina made two

It’s Zucchini Week here at The Frugal Girl! (plus, Zucchini Salad)

August 10, 2009 by Pasta Salad Recipes · Leave a Comment

As I mentioned last week in my less-than-usual QA post , this week the regular features on my blog (except for Food Waste Friday) will be on hiatus, because I have some zucchini recipes I want to share with you. It’s August, and all of you (except for those of you who live in the southern hemisphere!) are probably needing some ways to use up zucchini, whether it be from your garden or someone else’s. An awful lot of zucchini recipes are of the baking sort, and while I do have two of tho

Yes, as I write this post I am home, but as you are reading it....I am in Cozumel enjoying my powerboat beach escape! ;-) This is our final week of the Made with Love Giveaway.
